Delegate fees
The registration fee includes attendance at the conference and exhibition, conference proceedings book including delegate names/company/country and all available presenter slides in pdf format, participation in networking/speed-dating sessions, delegate name badge, special distribution magazine, coffee breaks and snacks, lunches, welcome reception and farewell reception, and attendance at the Global Slag Awards Dinner.
Registration opens on 6 November 2025. The conference super-early-bird registration fee is €795 until 30 November 2025 and the early-bird rate is €925 from 1 December 2025. The conference standard-rate registration fee is €1025 from 1 February 2026. The conference final rate registration fee is €1125 from 1 March 2026. Employees of members of the conference association partners (Euroslag, National Slag Association, Slag Cement Association, Australasian (iron and steel) Slag Association, Nippon Slag Association and the Brazil Steel Institute) benefit from a €100 discount on these rates. Speakers register for €620, while confirmed slag-producer/slag-user speakers register free.
The Global Slag Awards Dinner will take place on a luxurious dining yacht cruising along the Bosphorus, after the first day of the conference. Return to the hotel by 23:00, latest. The Global Slag Awards Dinner - a highlight of the global slag year, and an important networking opportunity - is included in the delegate registration fee. There is no refund for non-participation.
Note: The organisers reserve the right to alter future registration fees on an ongoing-basis, if required by currency movements or other unavoidable circumstances. Pre-existing bookings will not be affected.
Delegates are strongly urged to stay at the conference hotel, for ease of access to all conference facilities.
Important note: We will never call you about booking hotel rooms for this conference. If someone calls you (or emails) offering a discount on hotel rooms, they are trying to scam you. Just put the phone down on them!
Due to the constraints of the registration system, a new registration form must be completed for each delegate. Guests can attend the dinner only. Each registration must have its own unique e-mail address. Payment is by bank/credit card or direct bank transfer only.

Please note that conference fees are not refundable under any circumstances, unless the conference is cancelled, in which case fees will be refunded after an administrative deduction of 20%. You are strongly advised to secure your visa before registering for the conference. Refunds cannot be issued due to non receipt of a Visa. Substitutions from the same company can be made at no cost up to three working days before the event.
Fees quoted do not include any applicable local taxes. Local VAT may be applicable to some parts or all of these fees.
