18th Global CemFuels Conference & Exhibition on alternative fuels for cement and lime 2025

The Global CemFuels Conference and Exhibition has established itself as the largest specialised annual alternative fuels conference and exhibition in the world, attracting more than 200 international delegates and many exhibitors each year.

The 18th Global CemFuels event in 2025 will showcase the best alternative fuels projects and equipment from the cement industry from around the world. Fuel mix optimisation and combustion and pyro-process optimisation will be examined in depth. Hydrogen and ammonia use as alternative fuels for cement and lime production will also be covered. Delegates are expected to attend from more than 40 countries, to learn from experts how to start to use - or to increase their use of - alternative fuels. Increasing numbers of AF suppliers, traders and buyers have been attending, making CemFuels a great place to come and do business to secure your AF supply. If your business is in alternative fuels for the cement and lime industry, then you must attend!

Delegate fees

The registration fee includes attendance at the conference and exhibition, conference programme booklet including delegate names/company/country, and download of all available presentations in PDF format, participation in networking/speed-dating sessions, delegate name badge, special distribution magazine, coffee breaks and snacks, lunches, welcome reception and farewell reception. The CemFuels Awards Gala Dinner is optional and is bookable during registration. Delegates are responsible for organising and paying for their own accommodation and travel arrangements.

Delegates are strongly urged to stay at the conference hotel, for ease of access to all conference facilities.

Italian companies are not charged VAT during registration, but are responsible for paying Italian VAT through the reverse charge mechanism. All other customers are charged Italian VAT. Companies in the EU may be able to reclaim Italian VAT. Companies from outside the EU will not be able to reclaim Italian VAT. For further information on Italian VAT, please refer to our VAT page.

Super Early-Bird registration is £645 (£786.90 including VAT at 22%) and will apply until 30 April 2025. The Early-Bird rate of £745 (£908.90 including VAT) starts on 1 May 2025, and is followed by the Standard rate of £845 (£1030.90 including VAT) until 21 August 2025. The Final rate of £945 (£1152.90 including VAT) will apply from 22 August 2025. Cement producers benefit from a £100 discount on the pre-VAT rates, with cement-producer employees of Global Cement's partner associations (AUCBM, GCCA, WCA) able to access a further £100 pre-VAT discount on registration fee (discounts available during registration). Confirmed speakers register for £595 (£725.90 including VAT). Confirmed cement-producer-speakers register free. Attendance at the Global CemFuels Awards Dinner is £125 (£137.50 including VAT at 10%).

The full-day course 'Introduction to alternative fuels for cement and lime' on Tuesday 16 September 2025 is an optional extra, bookable during registration. The cost is £295 per person (£359.90 including VAT at 22%) or £245 (£298.90 including VAT) for cement-producer partners.

The field trip to Heidelberg Materials Rezzato plant will take place on Friday 19 September 2025, and is bookable during registration at a cost of £60 (£66 including VAT of 10%). Numbers are limited. Bring your own safety shoes - 'No safety shoes, no tour'!

The organisers reserve the right to alter future registration fees on an ongoing-basis, if required by currency movements or other unavoidable circumstances. Pre-existing bookings will not be affected.

Please note that conference fees are not refundable under any circumstances, unless the conference is cancelled, in which case fees will be refunded after an administrative deduction of 20%. You are strongly advised to secure your visa before registering for the conference. Refunds cannot be issued due to non receipt of a Visa. Substitutions from the same company can be made at no cost up to three working days before the event.
